How to: See Which Of Your Posts Gets the Most Traffic

To prove the ROI of blogging we recommend that you use Google Analytics on your own website to track these key metrics: 1) Increase in site traffic 2) Referral links from the blog to your site. (Tips for Google Analytics). This will always be the most accurate.

We do our best to track the traffic to your group blog posts in our “Post Stats” widget. However, we will be honest and say that this is not as reliable as Google Analytics. So the numbers are not set in stone. Instead, use these results to gauge which posts are the most popular compared to others.

Log in to the group blog, on your dashboard you will see the “Post Stats” section. (If you do not see this, expand the “Screen Options” section on the top right of the screen and select “Post Stats” to make this visible)

Results are shown by 30 day period. You can adjust the dates or select “Show All” from the dropdown menu. Hint: Please be patient as information takes time to refresh. You can export the results to Excel for further analysis.

Once a month you will receive an email report reporting traffic stats for each group blog and the most popular posts.

You can always schedule a call with our SEO team to review your individual results.
