How Much Traffic Will I Get From ERP/CRM Software Blog?

This is one of the most common questions someone asks when they evaluate being a member of one of our group blog sites (ERP Software Blog, CRM Software Blog or ERP Cloud Blog) - “How much traffic will I get?
The honest answer is that there is no single realistic number because results vary too much from member to member. What you get depends heavily on how often you post, how good your content is, and how long you have been building your library of posts on our site.
What we can do is give you some real benchmarks and help you understand what those numbers are actually worth.
A Realistic Starting Point for Traffic from the Group Blogs
As a goal: aim for an average of 20 views per month per article. That may not sound like much, but here is what it adds up to.
If you publish two articles a month for a year, you will have 24 articles. At 20 views per article per month, that is around 500 views a month by the end of year one. Not from one lucky post, but from a library of content that keeps working quietly in the background.
That is how most of our long-standing members built momentum. They did not get 5,000 views in their first month. They published consistently, let the content compound, and the traffic grew over time.
Group blog members can see their traffic numbers for each post when they log in to the blog sites.
Traffic Numbers Top Group Blog Members See
Our most active, long-tenured members typically see between 1,500 and 5,000 views per month, with top individual articles bringing in around 1,500 views a month on their own. One of our most active ERP Software Blog members generated 5,074 total views in a single 30 day period, with traffic coming from articles published across four different years. Of those readers, 1,962 clicked a link in the article and 1,302 clicked through to the member's website, a combined click through rate over 25 percent. That member published 89 articles in one year.
Those are top-end numbers. Most members will not hit them right away. But they show what is possible with consistent effort over time.
You Do Not Need Big Traffic Numbers to See ROI
Here is what surprises a lot of people: you do not need hundreds of clicks to get your money's worth from group blog membership.
Microsoft Dynamics targeted clicks are expensive. A realistic cost per click through Google Ads in this niche is often $10 to $20. At $15 a click, just 12 qualified visitors back to your website in a month already covers the cost of a core membership. Everything beyond that is upside.
Even our least active members, those who rarely post, still see a handful of clicks each month from their directory listing and profile page alone. Members who publish consistently see dramatically more, but the floor is higher than most people expect.

A Real Example: Ranking in Both Google and AI Overview
One of our CRM Software Blog articles, a guide on building a customer journey map in Dynamics CRM, recently showed up in two places at once for the same search. It ranked #3 in natural Google results and was also pulled into Google's AI Overview at the top of the page.
Whether someone clicked through or just read the AI summary, that member's expertise was in front of a potential buyer either way. That is the kind of visibility that compounds over time, and it is one reason why clicks alone are no longer the whole story.

Why Traffic and Clicks Are Not the Whole Picture Anymore
With AEO, or Answer Engine Optimization, more buyers are getting answers directly from AI tools like ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, and Perplexity without ever clicking through to a website. Your content can influence a buyer's decision before they ever visit your site.
This is why our sites use proper author schema, build out individual author pages, and maintain "Best of" lists. All of these have a real impact on whether AI tools surface your content when a prospect is researching solutions.
The Bottom Line
Traffic is not something you can predict with one number. But you can build toward it with a clear plan. Start with two solid posts a month, focus on topics your prospects are actually searching for, and give it time. The content you publish today will keep working for you months and years from now.
