A Starting Point for Companies Entering the Microsoft Dynamics Channel

I talk to a lot of companies entering the Microsoft Dynamics channel. Some are ISVs expanding from another ERP ecosystem. Others are established Microsoft shops adding a Dynamics 365 practice.
You might not be new to ERP. You might not be new to Microsoft.
But if you are new to the Microsoft Dynamics channel, there is something important to understand early.
The Dynamics ecosystem has its own history, relationships, and norms. People know each other. Certain names come up again and again. Reputation carries more weight here than in many other industries.
It is like a little country club (in a good way) and you want someone established to give you their approval.
That is where ERP Software Blog and CRM Software Blog can help you out.
Perspective from Inside the Channel
I have worked exclusively in the Microsoft Dynamics channel since 1999. This has been my entire career, so I don’t have a lot to compare it to. But many people tell me this is the friendliest ERP channel they have worked in. People share information. Introductions happen. Competition exists, but collaboration is part of the culture.
That sense of community is one reason many of us stay here long term.
Before running the blog sites, I worked in marketing roles at Dynamics partners. I started ERP Software Blog in 2009 because I needed a better way for our Dynamics focused content to be found. The idea was simple. Create a shared, trusted place where Microsoft Dynamics content could live together and be discovered more easily. Over time, other partners asked to participate, and the platform keep growing.
Recognition and Focus
Today, ERP Software Blog is widely recognized inside the Dynamics ecosystem. If you attend events, talk with long time partners, or ask which media brands people pay attention to, our name comes up consistently.
The ERP/CRM Software Blog has been a media partner for all the major channel events including Community Summit, Directions NA, Directions EMEA, DynamicsCon, Vibe and Convergence.
The focus of the sites is intentionally narrow. We do not try to cover every ERP system or technology trend. We focus on Microsoft Dynamics, the partners who sell it, and the ISVs who build around it. CRM Software Blog supports the Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement side of the ecosystem.
Our members include large VARs, established ISVs, startups entering the Dynamics space, and companies expanding from other ERP platforms into Microsoft Dynamics. When a newer company joins, they appear alongside organizations the channel already knows.
Take a look at the ERP Software Blog member list. If you recognize these names and want your company to show up next to them, this is the right place for you. Remember, a high tide floats all ships.
How Companies New to the Channel Are Evaluated by Buyers and Partners
When buyers (and partners) encounter a company new to the Dynamics channel, they form opinions quickly. They look for signs of familiarity, participation, and credibility.
Are you part of our community? Are you here to stay?
Being visible on a long standing, Dynamics only platform helps answer those questions
ERP Software Blog has published Dynamics content consistently since 2009. That history carries authority with buyers, partners, Microsoft employees, search engines, and AI tools.
